"Right under the soles of my feet, dear brothers."

Again Abu Nawas answered calmly.
"The stars in the sky are the same number as the hair that grows on my mule."

"How can you prove it?" Asked the second sage.
"Well, if you do not believe it, just count the hair that is on this donkey, then you will know the truth," said Abu Nawas.
"That's a fool, a trick, how can one count the feathers of a donkey?" The second sage protested.
Well, if I'm stupid, then you're stupid too, how can one count stars in the sky? "Abu Nawas said.

Hearing the answer, the second sage could not continue. Now tampillh the third wise man who said he was the wisest of the others. He was somewhat disturbed by Abu Nawas ingenuity and curtly he asked,
"You seem to know a lot about a donkey, tell me how many feathers are on the donkey's tail."

"I know the amount, the amount of hair that is on the tail of my donkey is the same as the amount of hair that is on your beard," replied Abu Nawas casually.

"How can you prove it?" Asked the third sage again.
"Oh, that's easy, here's how you pull a feather from my tail, then I'll pull a hair out of your janggunt, so if it's the same, then what I say is true, otherwise I'm wrong," Abu Nawas replied.

Of course the third wise man would not accept the way the count is. Then the villagers said that Abu Nawas was the wisest of the three wise men.
